CASE EARTH AWARD

  In recognition of CB's innovation, dedication and commitment to environmental protection, we were judged winners of the 1998 Case Earth Award (Category 1) Queensland, for construction of the Mudgeeraba Forest estate nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

  Minimal impact on the surrounding creek and bush land was the primary objective, which was achieved in consultation with Client, Consultant and Local Government in a collaborative effort that surpassed expectations.

  The development encompassed a Bebo arch which spanned the creek and encompassed foundations which were constructed insitu maintaining complete integrity of the creek bed and minimising impact on the neighbouring bushland.

  At times services were installed beneath tree root balls to maintain alignment and ensure the maximum number of trees were retained fronting residential lots and adjacent to the roadway.
